Heartwarming Initiative was established in 2023 by a group of heart specialists and healthcare professionals, and it is registered as a non-profit charity. The organization's goal is to help individuals who are undiagnosed or suffering from heart disease to understand and treat their heart health early through surgical support, free screenings, health seminars, and other community activities.
According to data from the World Health Organization, cardiovascular diseases are one of the leading causes of death globally, claiming approximately 18 million lives each year. Cardiovascular diseases include coronary artery disease, rheumatic heart disease, and other conditions. More than four-fifths of cardiovascular disease deaths are primarily due to heart attacks and strokes, with one-third occurring in individuals under 70, which is concerning.
Heart disease and strokes are often associated with poor dietary habits, smoking, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high cholesterol, obesity, and genetic factors. We hope to identify high-risk individuals for cardiovascular diseases early and avoid missing the critical treatment window. Given the importance of this health issue, it is clear that individual efforts alone are insufficient. Therefore, a group of dedicated colleagues has come together to combat heart disease. With the establishment of the Heartwarming Initiative Charitable Foundation and a new website, we hope to promote professional services and enhance public awareness of heart disease.
